GOLEINE is not only a unisex name that means harmony, but also the newest extremely unique musical collective in Limburg with pianist and winner of the Dutch Jazz Competition (2008) and Anne MG Schmidt award (2013) Mike Roelofs, double bassist, Princess Christina Concours (2019) and Maastricht Jazz Award winner (2023) Peter Willems, singer/chansonnière and Eujazz Award winner (2011) Charlotte Haesen and guitarist/producer Philip Breidenbach.

The formation of the quartet immediately aroused the attention of regional bookers: Before they had played a note together, they had already booked shows in the Cultuurhuis in Heerlen, in the Jazz room LOFT in Cologne and at the Alte Schlachthof in Eupen, making their debut an international one. Now that they have made a number of tracks together, the feedback from the listeners is that the music cannot be captured in one genre. Atmosphere, virtuosity, vulnerability and strong stories: GOLEINE tirelessly build their own musical universe and prove time and time again why they are one of the most intriguing bands currently active in Limburg and soon far beyond.
